Mikey Walz is a stand-up comic and musician hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. In October of 2018, after years of doing comedy, he was diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer would take his life (and career) into a hard left. On Halloween day, in order to save his life, Mikey underwent the amputation of his left leg.  Pretty Metal, right? Within a month, Mikey was hobbling back on stage and better than ever.   Mikey's Stand-up is a smarmy, silly, surprisingly lighthearted ride through his intense experience with near death and partial dismemberment (along with whatever else is on his mind). Like a jokey, normcore pirate, Mikey is storming the stages of America.

Credits:

Mikey performs all over the Bay Area and frequently hits the road as well, performing across the  country at venues such as The World Famous Comedy Store, The House of Blues in New Orleans, and the Oberon Theater

and Laugh Boston in Boston MA.

He's also been an officially selected performer at SF Sketchfest, The Oakland Comedy Festival, SF ReImagine Fest, The Santa Cruz Comedy Festival, The Chico Comedy Festival, and the Savage Henry Comedy Festival in Humboldt CA.
